The world number one defeated Dave Chisnall in the final to clinch the £25,000 first prize, going one better than his runner-up spot last weekend.
The Dutch ace, who had seen off Ronny Huybrechts on Saturday, went on to defeat compatriot Raymond van Barneveld on Sunday afternoon to reach the quarter-finals.
There, he produced a stunning display to knock-out plucky Austrian Rowby-John Rodriguez, averaging 114 in a 6-3 success.
‘Mighty Mike’ averaged over 109 in his semi-final triumph against Robert Thornton before clinching the title with a 6-4 victory over Chisnall in the decider.
“I didn’t like losing in the final last week so I am delighted to win here,” van Gerwen said. “The final is always different and I’m really glad I did because Dave is such a good player.”
“I’m pleased with how I played all weekend overall though and to get a win and another trophy on the European Tour is great.”
